BIOGRAPHIE
Benjamin BARRIA est né à Albi en 1980. Passionné par la musique et le piano dès l’age de 6 ans, il suivra les cours du Conservatoire National de Toulouse dans la classe de Philippe Blacher et obtient son DEM en 2002. Il se perfectionne en suite à Paris au près de Marie Josèphe Jude et de Stéfan Patry.
Il donne actuellement plusieurs dizaines de concerts par an en soliste et dans divers groupes : Carré d'As Orchestra, Les Cuivres de Rocamadour, Paris Chicago, et dans les grands festivals en France et à l’étranger (Suisse, Espagne, Italie, Allemagne, Inde) : Festival de la Cité à Carcassonne, Festival international de Roquevaire, Toulouse les Orgues, Jazz à Montauban, Festival international de Genève, Les nuits du parvis de Saint Maximin, Festival international de Céret, Les musicales du plateau, Festival du Mont Dore, Rencontres musicales de Melun, Festival lyrique d'Argeles, International Jazz Day à Delhi, Yamaha Music Square de Jaipur et Bangalore,

BIOGRAPHY
Benjamin BARRIA was born in Albi in 1980. At six years old, he was fascinated by music, particularly piano. He follows the courses of the National Conservatory of Toulouse, France, in the class of Philippe Blacher and gets the "first piano price" in 2002. After that, always looking after the best of himself, he decided to perfect his way of playing by following lessons in Paris, whith Marie-Josephe Jude and Stefan Patry.
Since he was twelve years old, Benjamin composes his own pieces. After many travels in India, he wrote last years pieces which mix the french classical culture and indian inspirations. The best of them will be recorded this automn in a new album "A Night in Pushkar ". This CD will be his 9th. He also teaches every week twenty pupils in Albi, France. He records regularly for talentful musicians and orchestras. Élégance, seriousness, talent and charisma rules his life. Benjamin gives many concerts a year as a soloist (Mozart, Chopin, Beethoven, Liszt, and his compositions) and in various groups : Carré d'As Orchestra, Les Cuivres de Rocamadour, Paris Chicago, and in major festivals in France and abroad (Switzerland, Spain, Italia, Germany, India ) : Festival de la Cité de Carcassonne, International Festival of Roquevaire, Toulouse the Organs, Jazz in Montauban, International Festival of Geneva, the nights of the court of Saint Maximin, International Festival of Ceret, Mont Dore Festival, musical meetings of Melun, lyrical Festival Argeles, International Jazz Day in Delhi, Yamaha Music Square in Jaipur and Bagalore, Alliance Française de Mumbai and Pondichery ...
